Workforce Development Discussion with Lt Governor Pamela Evette
We want to thank South Carolina Lt. Governor Pamela Evette for stopping by to meet with us to talk about workforce development in the construction industry.
Lt Gov Evette mentioned the need to give children in South Carolina an ability to thrive with their natural gifts. She mentioned that some children may be best suited for a 4 year degree while others may be great candidates to go straight into the workforce or to get an Associates Degree or certificate from a Tech School.
In our meeting we discussed everything from SC Wins to needs of the construction industry to a rewarding career in construction. Lt Governor Evette has been a friend to the business community, the building community and to the educational system for the children of South Carolina. We are thankful for her efforts!
