My experience with Carolina Bays Homes was outstanding. If I could give them 10 stars I would. From the initial meeting to discuss my sunroom request through construction and post completion follow up, simply the best experience I have had with a home contractor, period. The work is exception and the team is the best. They turned my screened in porch and patio in a 4 season enclosed sunroom with mini split and installed Pergola over my patio. The attention to detail and quality of work is the best. I would hire them again in a New York minute without any hesitation.

We appreciate your both your comments and how great you were to work with! Enjoy your sunroom and pergola!
+1Carolina Bays built a large art studio-living room and replaced our roof. Rob Clemmons and Aaron Wagner were communicative and professional throughout the entire process. It all went smoothly and Bob and I have no regrets. Would work with them again for sure. We love our room and new roof.
Owner's reply
Thank you for the nice review Amy! We enjoyed working with you both and are glad you are enjoying your new room and roof!
We could not be happier with our sunroom installed by Carolina Bays Homes. Rob came out within a day of us scheduling our first appointment, listened to what we wanted, took measurements, made some very good recommendations, then quickly sent us a proposal. The job was started on time and completed as promised. The quote was in line with other quotes, BUT we liked everything about Rob & his presentation! In almost 10 years of living in SC, we have never encountered a more professional, pleasant business owner. We will definitely use Carolina Bays Homes again and most certainly recommend them to anyone looking to do any renovations or changes to their home. Thanks Rob & crew!

Thank you for the nice words. We are so glad you like your porch enclosure! It was great working with you!
We hired Carolina Bay Real Estate and Construction to enclose our 10x10 porch using Scenic windows by Larson, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Rob, the owner of the company, brought together an amazing team that was efficient, hardworking, and highly skilled. John and Christian, the managers were professional, knowledgeable, and courteous throughout the entire process. We were truly impressed that the entire project was completed in just one day—everyone worked incredibly hard to make that happen. A week later, Rob followed up with a walkthrough, taking the time to explain how to properly open, close, and care for our new Scenic windows. That level of attention and customer care meant a lot to us. Our new 3-season porch has completely transformed our new home. It’s now a beautiful, comfortable space with bright white windows that feels like an extra room. We’re excited to enjoy it year-round—staying warm in cooler weather, comfortable during the summer, and protected from rain. Thank you, Rob and your wonderful team, for an outstanding job—well done!

I got estimates and talked to several companies before I went ahead and did this EZ Breeze enclosure. I chose Carolina Bays Real Estate and Construction. By far, Rob, the owner, was the most pleasant, patient and competent boss I spoke with. The communication with the build was excellent, and the workmanship was fabulous. When done, Rob came out and showed us step-by-step how to work the windows and how to take care of them. Without hesitation, I would recommend this company five stars!!!!

I’ve done a major renovation project and a new roof with Rob, Jeremy and the Carolina Bays crews and I have only wonderful things to say about our experiences. Rob is an excellent communicator and is extremely knowledgeable about all areas of construction. Their prices are competitive, they show up on time and clean up thoroughly. Couldn’t ask for better service!

We had a room addition put on the back our house with Carolina Bays. Rob took our vision and wish list and made it a reality! He helped us with design plans and a permit, all the way to the finished product. He knows how to resource the construction phases to the right crews and problem solve. He explains the pluses and minuses of certain construction decisions to help you make an informed decision. We were comfortable with his payment installment process. We would call him if we had another improvement project. Enough said! Have him check out your project and see for yourself.

Thanks Eric! We look forward to working with you more in the future!Carolina Bays is the best experience I’ve had in buying or selling property. They got me a great profit (far more than I expected) on some property I owned in Murrell’s Inlet, and saved me from a loss I expected on an investment lot in another subdivision. These folks are the most honest people you’ll find in the real estate world. I feel that my satisfaction was their highest priority whether they were buying or selling property for me. I’ve never said that about any other realtor.
